The Rugby Europe Championship 2022 starts this Saturday, which doubles up as the qualification process for Rugby World Cup 2023: Georgia, Romania, Portugal, Spain, Russia, and the Netherlands will compete in five rounds of competition to be held throughout February and March.
Rugby Europe has unveiled the list of broadcast and digital partners who will promote and cover the fifteen games.

Games will be broadcasted in local language in the following participating countries:
Georgia: IMEDI TV and Rugby TV
Netherlands: ZIGGO
Portugal: RTP
Romania: TVR
Russia: TRICOLOR
Spain: TELEDEPORTE
In France, for the first time ever, rugby fans will be able to watch all games live with French commentary. Thanks to SPORTALL, all games will be accessible on the digital platform RUGBYZONE.TV, as well as on rugbyeurope.tv with English commentary.
In North America, Rugby Europe is delighted to announce a multi-year agreement with FLOSPORTS who will kick off the partnership with the Rugby Europe Championship this weekend. With this agreement, Rugby Europe will expand the coverage of the Championship beyond the continent of Europe to reach a new audience.
For all other countries, games will be broadcast live on rugbyeurope.tv with English commentary.
The path to Rugby World Cup 2023 will be determined by the two teams with the highest points total from the combined 2021 and 2022 Rugby Europe Championship editions. They will be awarded with direct tickets to the showpiece event. The team ranked in third place will also have the chance to qualify through the Final Qualification tournament organized by World Rugby.

France start the championship as narrow favourites, especially after their big victory over New Zealand in November, while England, Ireland and Scotland also had impressive results last autumn, Wales are defending champions and Italy will be hoping to secure their first win in the tournament since 2017.
The tournament kicks off in Dublin where Ireland host Wales and concludes with ‘Super Saturday’, when the three back-to-back matches are Wales v Italy, Ireland v Scotland and France v England – and you won’t want to miss any of the action from start to finish.

Six Nations live stream: How to watch from the UK
All Six Nations matches are available on free-to-air TV in the UK, with the BBC and ITV sharing the broadcast rights.
ITV show England, France, Ireland and Italy’s home matches while the BBC air the home games of Scotland and Wales.
Welsh language channel S4C has live coverage of Wales’ Six Nations matches too.

Six Nations live stream: How to watch from Ireland
In Ireland, the Six Nations is also on free-to-air TV, with RTÉ and Virgin Media One (formerly TV3) broadcasting matches.
RTÉ will air all Wales’ matches live as well as France v Italy, England v Ireland and France v England.
